Vanessa Kirby and Shia LaBeouf to Both Star in PIECES OF A WOMAN
October 22, 2019Both Vanessa Kirby and Shia LaBeouf have been tapped to star in the upcoming drama, Pieces of a Woman, per director Kornél Mundruczó.
The film will follow a home birth gone tragic, as a grieving woman (Kirby) tries to come to terms with her loss, all while also dealing with the ramifications in her relationships with her husband (LaBeouf) and her estranged mother.
Kirby co-starred alongside Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, Jason Statham and Idris Elba this year in Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw, and her next project, The World to Come, is currently wrapping up production.
LaBeouf saw his indie breakout, The Peanut Butter Falcon, which also featured Dakota Johnson and Zack Gottsagen, come out this summer, while his semi-autobiographical film, Honey Boy, is dropping in theaters on Nov. 8, 2019. He also will star in a the gritty crime drama, The Tax Collector, which is currently in post-production.
No news yet on supporting cast for Pieces of a Woman, but production begins in December and will shoot in Montreal, Canada.
