The upcoming Warner Bros. / Looney Tunes adaptation for Wile E. Coyote has found its director in Dave Green.

The live-action/animation hybrid film will put the prairie-patrolling coyote at the forefront as he pursues his nemesis, the Road Runner. Acme, the fictional company which provides Wile E. with his many weapons, will no doubt continue to offer up faulty equipment, further contributing to thwarting his pursuits.

Wile E. Coyote first appeared as part of the Looney Tunes family in 1949, per the episode, The Fast and Furry-ous.

The project will see the Silberman brothers pen the screenplay in Jon and Josh, while Chris McKay will oversee producer duties.

The rising Green directed 2016’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows and made his full feature film directorial debut in 2014 with, Earth to Echo.

Keep it here for updates as the Wile E. Coyote project starts to catch speed, heading into 2020!
