Paramount Announces Fourth JACKASS Sequel, Including a Release Date

Pure mayhem is returning to the big screen, after nearly a 10-year hiatus, as Jackass 4 (working title) has been announced and has a release date too, per the announcement from Paramount Pictures!

That’s right, director Jeff Tremaine, producer Spike Jonze, Johnny Knoxville, Bam Margera, Steve-O and the rest of the crew are coming back for a 10-year reunion of sorts.

The prank and stunt reality franchise launched on MTV with Jackass, a series which ran for seven years, from 2000-07. From there, Jackass: The Movie dropped in 2002, thus spawning a cultural phenomenon with, Jackass Number Two (2006) and Jackass 3D, in 2010. The series also saw two extended versions of both the second and third installments with, Jackass 2.5 (2007) and Jackass 3.5 (2011). Among all the films, the series has earned more than $335 million, worldwide.

The fourth edition of the Jackass franchise is set to hit theaters on March 5, 2021.
