Two New TRANSFORMERS Films in the Works at Paramount

Following the success of the 2018’s Bumblebee, a breakout which essentially restored the original look of its characters and excitement in the brand, two new Transformers films are rumored to be in the works at Paramount Pictures.

One of the films is presumably set to further build a universe out of the standalone Bumblebee film, while the other, which is currently going by the code name, The Vanderbilt Project, will be a live-action spinoff adaptation of Transformers: Beast Wars.

The Beast Wars animated series ran for 52 episodes over a three-year span from 1996-99. The series takes the war of Cyberton to a pliocenic Earth, as the heroic Maximals (Autobots) and the evil Predacons (Decepticons) battle for survival against both each other, as well as a violent planet.

The two projects are being spearheaded by both James Vanderbilt and Joby Harold.

It’s still too early in the process for directing, casting and production news, but keep it right here at Galaxtic Pop for updates!
