Voice Cast Set for MORTAL KOMBAT LEGENDS: SCORPION’S REVENGE

New ‘kombatants’ are set to enter the arena as the voice cast has been assembled, per an announcement from Warner Bros., for the upcoming animated adaptation, Mortal Kombat Legends: Scorpion’s Revenge.

The film, from director Ethan Spaulding, will bridge the gap between now and the release of the 2021 reboot, while centering on Hanzo Hasashi, aka Scorpion.

Patrick Seitz will again voice the titular character of Scorpion, while the voice cast is headlined by Joel McHale and Jennifer Carpenter, who will both be voicing Johnny Cage and Sonya Blade, respectively. The rest of the cast includes: Jordan Rodrigues (Lui Kang), Steve Blum (Sub-Zero), Artt Butler (Shang Tsung), Darin de Paul (Quan Chi), Robin Atkin Downs (Kano), David B. Mitchell (Raiden), Ike Amadi (Jax Briggs), Kevin Michael Richardson (Goro), Grey Griffin (Kitana) and Fred Tatasciore, as Demon Torturer.

Mortal Kombat Legends: Scorpion’s Revenge is set to launch at some point in the first half of 2020, while the live-action reboot of Mortal Kombat is currently slated for a Jan. 15, 2021, release.
