A Witch is Preying on the Family Next Door in First Trailer for, THE WRETCHED
April 4, 2020Filmmakers the Pierce brothers, Brett and Drew, have released the first trailer for their upcoming installment to the IFC Midnight franchise, The Wretched.
The story centers on Ben, who is sent live with his father for the summer and is tasked to work at the local marina. The town offers solace for him, despite battling with a group of privileged teens, as well as his father’s new girlfriend. He soon makes a chilling discovery about the family renting the house next door, in which a malevolent spirit has garnered control of the parents and is playing sinister games, preying upon children and wiping away all traces of the town’s existence. He then launches a perilous crusade to put an end to the witch’s reign of terror.
The film stars John-Paul Howard, Piper Curda, Jamison Jones and Azie Tesfai.
The Wretched comes out in select theaters, as well as VOD, on May 1, 2020.
