Both Ryan Reynolds and filmmaker Shawn Levy are coming together again to make a time-travel science fiction film at Sundance.

That’s right, the two men behind the upcoming Free Guy film, in which an augmented NPC player in a shooter IP, takes control of its self and begins to take over the game (and his life), are coming together again for another project.

The previously-titled, Our Name is Adam, will follow a man (Reynolds) who must travel back in time to get help from his 13-year-old self. The two then encounter their late father, who is now the same age as the time traveler.

Reynolds continues to garner projects to his repertoire, including Deadpool 3, Clue and Red Notice, while is also adapting a live-action version of the popular 80s video game, Dragon’s Lair, as well.

Levy, who is ramping up production in anticipation of season four of Stranger Things, has a laundry list of upcoming projects, specifically in the production arena like, Atlantis 7, Monster Problems and also a Sesame Street revival.

Free Guy is currently due out on December 11, 2020, while production on the upcoming time-travel film will begin later this year.
