Demi Moore and Craig Robinson Cast in Michael Bay Thriller, SONGBIRD
June 24, 2020Both Demi Moore and Craig Robinson have been enlisted to star in the incoming Michael Bay-produced, Adam Mason-directed and Simon Boyes-scripted, pandemic thriller, Songbird.
The film, which has yet to announce the lead roles, is set two years after a pandemic lockdown (sound familiar?). The story centers on a love story between a motorbike courier, Nico, who has a rare immunity to the virus, and Sara, a young artist. The two will overcome martial law, vigilantes and powerful organizations, including Piper Griffin (Moore), a matriarch, who will go to great lengths to protect her family.
Joining Moore and Robinson in the film are both Paul Walter Hauser and Peter Stormare, who will also be in The Knife Thrower and lend his voice to the upcoming Troll Hunters as well. Hauser can be seen in two forthcoming projects as well, Eat Wheaties! and Cruella.
Moore starred in Corporate Animals in 2019 and also has an upcoming television project in, Brave New World, a dystopian future series
You can catch Robinson on the recently re-released An Evening with Beverly Luff Linn, which currently resides on Netflix, while he also will star in The Ark and the Aardvark and Mona Lisa and the Blood Moon.
