Enhanced Sharks are on the Hunt in First Official Trailer for DEEP BLUE SEA 3
June 17, 2020The third installment in the killer shark franchise is en route and no person or other shark species are safe, via the first trailer for, Deep Blue Sea 3.
Serving as a direct sequel, the film centers on the genetically-enhanced bull sharks that escape at the end of Deep Blue Sea 2, as the creatures now have an evolutionary goal of cross-breeding with bigger, faster great white sharks. The trio of bulls make their way to a mid-ocean laboratory, found floating over a sunken island town, where Emma Collins (Tania Raymonde), a marine biologist has set up shop with her crew. She must now team with Richard Lowell (Nathaniel Buzolic), the patron of the project, to ensure the safety of the crew, against not only a team of organized deadly sharks, but also the crumbling foundation of a sinking lab.
Rounding out the rest of the observatory crew are: Bren Foster, Reina Aoi, Emerson Brooks, Siya Mayola, DeVille Vannik and Brashaad Mayweather.
Deep Blue Sea 3 launches on digital on July 28, 2020, followed by its Blu-Ray release on Aug. 25.
