Filmmaker Victoria Mahoney is being sought by Paramount Pictures to direct the live-action adaptation of the original graphic novel, Kill Them All, an Oni Press offering.

Mahoney, who garnered accolades for being the first woman of color to have landed second unit director duties on Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, would potentially be making her big studio directorial debut with this project.

The film will be based on the OGN, Kill Them All, from creator Kyle Starks and artist Luigi Anderson. It serves as a love letter to action flicks of the 90s and follows a betrayed murderess, who is seeking revenge, as well as an alcoholic ex-cop, who wants his job back. The two team to get what they both want, but will have to fight, while scaling 15 flights of a building comprised of criminals, assassins and drug lords.

James Coyne has been tabbed to pen the script, while both Josh Appelbaum and André Nemec will serve as producers.

Mahoney has done a little bit of everything in Hollywood, having appeared in films, like Legally Blonde, had roles in shows, like Seinfeld, as well as produced and directed. She just completed directing a television movie, Under the Bridge, and also directed an episode of the forthcoming HBO series, Lovecraft County.
