Adam Sandler Enlists All-Star Cast for Netflix Halloween Comedy

The love affair between Adam Sandler and Netflix continue as the streaming giant has announced a new and yet-untitled Halloween project by Happy Madison Productions.

The movie logline reads, “Despite his devotion to his hometown of Salem, Mass. (and its legendary Halloween celebrations), Hubie Dubois is a figure of mockery for kids and adults, alike. But this year, something really is going ‘bump in the night’ and it’s up to Dubois to save Halloween.”

The cast includes Happy Madison regulars like, Kevin James, Rob Schneider and Steve Buscemi, but also some notable newcomers, like Julie Bowen, Ray Liotta and Kenan Thompson.

Sandler will pen the script, while Steve Brill (Little Nicky, Mr. Deeds, Sandy Wexler) will direct the movie. No news yet on when production starts or a release date, but stay tuned!
