D23 Expo 2019: MS. MARVEL Series Landing at Disney+

The first-ever Marvel Muslim superhero will make her live-action debut on Disney+ as a Ms. Marvel series was announced at D23 Expo.

Kamala Khan, a teenager of Pakistani descent, is a fangirl of both Captain Marvel, her idol, and the Avengers. Her powers include super strength, shape-shifting, elasticity and the ability to heal.

No news yet on a release date as production has yet to begin. A few actors that would fit well in this role include: Jameela Jamil, Deepika Padukone, Kriti Sanon and Shradda Kapoor.
