Netflix Gives THE BABYSITTER Sequel a Green Light

If you have yet to watch The Babysitter on Netflix, shame on you, but be motivated to do so, because McG will return to direct the sequel!

The first film dropped in 2017 and centered on 12-year-old Cole (Judah Lewis), who has a crush on his babysitter, Bee, played by Samara Weaving. Upon learning she is the leader in a satanic cult, attempts to foil her plan, which is sacrificing him. Filling out the rest of the cult members included: Robbie Amell, Bella Thorne, Hana Mae Lee and Andrew Bachelor.

Plain-and-simple, this one was awesome! The film starts off as a heartfelt tale of a babysitter and a young boy, throws a wrench in your face and leads to a gory and chaotic good time. Check out the trailer below.

No news yet as to who will fill out the rest of the cast, but it is presumed that Weaving, who survived, will return to continue her babysitting and satanic duties.

According to Production Weekly, McG is set to begin production in October, so look for this one to possibly drop at some point in 2020.
