Pierce Brosnan Cast in Ferrell/McAdams Netflix Film, EUROVISION
August 13, 2019The cast continues to round out for the upcoming Will Ferrell and Rachel McAdams project on Netflix as Eurovision adds Pierce Brosnan.
The story will highlight both Ferrell and McAdams as musicians Lars Erickssong and Sigrit Ericksdottir, two aspiring musicians, whom seek to capitalize on an opportunity of a lifetime in representing Iceland in the world’s biggest song competition. The newly casted Brosnan will play Ferrell’s father, Erick Erickssong, the ‘Most Handsome Man in Iceland’.
No news yet on a release date for the streaming service, but the film is currently in production, shooting in both Iceland and the UK.
The project will be directed by David Dobkin (Wedding Crashers), while Ferrell will pen it, alongside Andrew Steele (Saturday Night Live), and Adam McKay (Daddy’s Home) will serve as executive producer.
