AVENGERS: ENDGAME Earns Saturn Awards in Five Cats to Lead All Winners

The 2019 Saturn Awards, the 45th installment, which honors the best in science fiction, horror and fantasy, across multiple platforms, saw Avengers: Endgame top all winners, with six-total awards in five categories.

The fourth installment in the MCU’s Avengers franchise took home awards in the categories of, Best Comic-to-Motion-Picture Release, Best Film Special/Visual Effects and also saw Charles Wood earn Best Film Production Design, both John Blake and Brian Sipe garner Best Film Makeup and Robert Downey Jr was honored as Best Actor in a Film.

Drawing accolades in multiple categories in television was Star Trek: Discovery, earning accolades in Best Streaming Fantasy, Sci-Fi or Action/Thriller Television Series, Doug Jones, who earned Best Supporting Actor in a Streaming Presentation, and Sonequa Martin-Green, who was honored as Best Actress in a Streaming Presentation.

Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige was also honored with the inaugural Stan Lee Builder Award, which is given annually to the ‘creative force who has, over an extended period of time, created a world with multiple stories and characters that have amazed and engaged fans, worldwide, at the most-galactic level’.
