Hulu Opts Out of Marvel’s Live-Action GHOST RIDER Series

Hulu Opts Out of Marvel’s Live-Action GHOST RIDER Series

September 25, 2019 Off By Michael Stagno

Now that Hulu has decided not to pick up the live-action series, Marvel’s Ghost Rider, unlike its counterpart, Marvel’s Helstrom, the project, in its entirety, may be dead.

Ever since Ghost Rider, aka Robbie Reyes, made his awesome run on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., played by Gabriel Luna, fans have been clamoring for the Spirit of Vengeance to land his own show.

The other show announced for the streaming service, Helstrom, is still on track, however. The series centers on Daimon and Ana Helstrom, the son and daughter of a powerful serial killer, who track down and destroy those that terrorize humanity. The series slightly differs from the comics, in which Daimon, who goes by Hellstrom, is actually the son of Satan.

We’ll keep our fingers crossed in hopes that Ghost Rider makes a comeback on possibly one of Disney‘s other platforms. Stay tuned!
