Jenna Fischer and Angela Kinsey to Launch New Podcast, OFFICE LADIES
September 11, 2019Two former The Office stars, Jenna Fischer and Angela Kinsey, are set to dissect episodes and share behind-the-scenes exclusives for the fan-favorite show on a new podcast, Office Ladies.
The Office ran for nine seasons on NBC, debuting in 2005, and served as a mockumentary about the Dunder Mifflin office supply company, where the workday consisted of ego clashes, inappropriate behavior and schemes.
The two podcasters played office rivals on the show, Fischer, as Pam Beesly, and Kinsey, as Angela Martin. The cast will serve as a nostalgic throwback for fans as the two, each week, will talk all things, The Office, tell stories from the set, do trivia and even dish on some behind-the-scenes Easter eggs, all while also dishing on everyday happenings for the two as off-camera best friends.
“The Office was such an amazing chapter of our lives,” said Kinsey. “(And) it means so much to us that we get to share some of our memories of filming it with our audiences.”
The series still maintains its popularity, having turned in nearly 52 billion minutes of streaming on Netflix. The streaming service will be losing it though, come 2021, when NBC Universal debuts its competing service.
