Kevin James Tabbed to Star in Netflix and NASCAR Sitcom, THE CREW

Comedian Kevin James is set to both star and executive produce a new multi-camera sitcom for Netflix, in conjunction with NASCAR, The Crew.

The series setting is in a NASCAR garage, where James is the crew chief. When the owner steps down, he leaves the team to his daughter and James finds himself at odds with tech-reliant millennials she brings in to help in modernizing the team.

Showrunner Jeff Lowell will serve as the writer, while Jeff Sussman and Todd Garner will both executive produce, alongside James and Lowell.
