Netflix Unveils Official Trailer, Announces Premiere Date for, THE WITCHER

The official trailer and release date have been revealed for the upcoming comic book adaptation at Netflix, The Witcher.

The story is based on the Dark Horse graphic novel franchise, The Witcher. The series will center on Geralt of Rivia (Henry Cavill), a solitary monster hunter, who struggles to find his place in a world where people often prove to be more wicked than the beasts.

Lauren Schmidt created the series which also stars: Freya Allen, Joey Batey, MyAnna Buring, Anya Chalotra, Eamon Farren and Björn Hlynur Haraldsson, among others.

The eight-episode pilot season of The Witcher launches on Netflix on Dec. 20, 2019.
