Another novel adaptation bound for Netflix, with an all-star multicultural cast, just dropped its official trailer, which spotlights just how scary it is to be alone in a foreign country in, Earthquake Bird.

The upcoming film, from director Wash Westmoreland, which is based on the novel by Susanna Jones, The Earthquake Bird, is a psychologically unsettling and atmospheric thriller set in 1989 Tokyo. It follows Lucy Fly (Alicia Vikander), who enters into an intense relationship with Teiji (Naoki Kobayashi), a local photographer. Her imperturbable exterior begins to crack when a naive newcomer, Lily Bridges (Riley Keough), becomes entangled in their lives and, after being caught up in a love triangle, ends up missing and suspected dead.

Keep an eye out for Earthquake Bird to launch on Netflix on November 15.
