Netflix Scores Rights to Boom! Studios Adaptation of OGN, THE UNSOUND

Another original graphic novel, this time per Boom! Studios, is set to be adapted at Netflix in a mind-bending psychological thriller, The Unsound.

The film will be based on the OGN, The Unsound, from creators Cullen Bunn and Jack T. Cole. It tells the story of a psychiatrist who returns to the asylum where her mother once worked, but is now a patient there. She hopes to quell the wave of horror that has been unleashed there. As she slowly spirals down the rabbit hole in discovering difficult truths, including those of her own past, she comes to understand the hospital has many secrets of its own.

David F. Sandberg will helm the project, while the script will be penned by Skylar James.
