Netflix Drops Official Trailer for New Norwegian Mythology Series, RAGNAROK

The first trailer has arrived for Netflix‘s Ragnarok, a coming-of-age drama with a unique spin on Norse mythology and violent storms will make way for an epic battle of good versus evil.

The series follows a group of teens in a small fictitious Norwegian town, Edda, one riddled with pollution and suffering from melting glaciers. The end times are coming and it will take a new hero to rise to take on an old evil, the Giants.

The cast includes: David Stakston, Jonas Strand Gravli, Theresa Frostad Eggesbø, Herman Tømmeraas, Emma Bones, Henriette Steenstrup, Odd-Magnus Williamson, Synnøve Macody Lund and Gísli Örn Garðarsson.

The first-of-a-six-part-series, Ragnarok, launches on Netflix on Jan. 31, 2020.
