Sundance: Hulu Closing in on Lucrative Deal to Stream PALM SPRINGS
January 27, 2020 Off By Michael StagnoNews out of the Sundance Film Festival reports that the upcoming film, Palm Springs, starring Andy Samberg and Cristin Milioti, is (possibly) bound for Hulu, in what is being reported as a $15 million world rights deal with breakout distributor, Neon.
The Max Barbakow-directed comedy centers on a carefree Nyles (Samberg) and reluctant maid of honor, Sarah (Milioti), who both have a chance encounter at a Palm Springs wedding. Things get complicated as they are unable to escape the venue, themselves and, eventually, each other.
The film also stars: Tyler Hoechlin, Camila Mendes and J.K. Simmons.
