Ahsoka Tano Coming in S2 of THE MANDALORIAN, Rosario Dawson Cast

Another fan-favorite character is set to make her live-action debut on the second season of the Disney+ series, The Mandalorian, in Ahsoka Tano, who will be portrayed by Rosario Dawson.

Tano, a padawan of Anakin Skywalker, who later becomes the Sith, Darth Vader, first appeared in Star Wars canon via the animated series, Star Wars: The Clone Wars (2008-20), per the voice of Ashley Eckstein. The character is of Togruta origin and wields dual lightsabers, one shorter than the other, in a rather unorthodox style, gripping the saber hilts in reverse. She later also appears in 13 episodes of the animated series Star Wars: Rebels (2014-18) as well, again voiced by Eckstein.

Dawson just finished voicing Wonder Woman in the animated series, Justice League Dark: Apokolips War. She’s also currently filming on two projects, The Water Man and DMZ.

The second installment of The Mandalorian, which is currently putting the finishing touches for the upcoming season, is slated for October of 2020.
