Netflix Drops Official Trailer for Upcoming Limited Series, HOLLYWOOD
April 20, 2020An upcoming limited series, from Ryan Murphy and Ian Brennan, has released its first trailer and the struggle is real, but could be rewritten, in post-World War II Hollywood.
The upcoming seven-part Netflix miniseries follows a group of aspiring actors and filmmakers in Hollywood, following WWII, as they all try to make it in ‘Tinseltown’ at any cost. Each character’s story offers a unique glimpse into their lives during the ‘Golden Age’ of cinema. The series also brings to fruition the unfair practices and biases against gender, sexuality and race.
The ensemble cast includes, Samara Weaving, Darren Criss, Jake Picking, Jeremy Pope and Patti LuPone.
Hollywood will launch globally on Netflix on May 1, 2020.
