The Shawn Levy-produced thriller, Dark Days at the Magna Carta, starring Blake Lively, has secured a home, following a bidding war, at Netflix.

The Michael Paisley-scripted film is being kept concealed, but it is rumored it centers on a woman (Lively) who goes to extreme lengths to save her family, following a world-shattering event.

Lively known for her role as Serena van der Woodsen on Gossip Girl (2007-12), broke out in her role as a surfer who takes on a massive great white shark in The Shallows (2016). She is also set to star in the upcoming, The Husband’s Secret, which is in early development.

Levy is becoming a regular around the Reynolds house, having also secured a few upcoming projects with Lively’s husband, Ryan. He currently is working on the fourth season of Stranger Things and also has such forthcoming projects as, There’s Someone Inside Your House, Be More Chill and the post-apocalyptic superhero film, Steelheart.

Having penned the television series, The Witcher, Paisley is well on his way to securing many other projects in the future.
