The action hero who keeps on ticking is at it again as Sylvester Stallone has announced, per his recent live Q&A on his Instagram page, three new upcoming projects are in the works, all based on his previous films.

Nighthawks to be adapted as a streaming series at NBCUniversal.

The 1981 film starred Stallone (Det. Deke DaSilva), alongside Billy Dee Williams, as Sgt. Matthew Fox. The two street cops attempt to stop an international terrorist and serial killer, Heymar ‘Wulfgar’ Reinhardt (Rutger Hauer), who demands national media attention for his acts.

The 1999 novel, Hunter, to be adapted as live-action feature film.

This is a new project, having yet to be adapted and is based on the novel by James Byron Huggins. It centers on Nathaniel Hunter, who possesses hyper-tracking capabilities and is enlisted to track down a half-human, half-beast creature that was created in a lab, before it reaches civilization.

A sequel to Demolition Man is in early development at Warner Bros. Pictures (will he have figured out how to use the shells?).

The 1993 film starred Stallone, as a frozen cop from the past, John Spartan, alongside a frozen international criminal, Simon Phoenix, played by Wesley Snipes, and Sandra Bullock, as Lenina Huxley. The previous two are brought out of suspended animation and exposed to a world now devoid of criminal activity and non-violent behavior.

Stallone has been all about the sequels over the last few years, having brought fans continuations like, Creed II, Escape Plan: The Extractors, Rambo: Last Blood and, which was recently announced, The Expendables 4.
