Things Get Dicey in the Air for Joseph Gordon-Levitt in the Official Trailer for 7500
June 10, 2020The Patrick Vollrath written and directed 7500 is bound for Prime Video, starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt, as a co-pilot who must navigate the skies while also trying to fend off hijackers, per the first official trailer.
The film centers on Tobias Ellis (Gordon-Levitt), an American co-pilot, who is preparing for a flight, from Berlin to Paris, along with his girlfriend, a flight attendant named Gökce (Aylin Tezel) and the pilot, Michael Lutzmann (Carlo Kitzlinger). Shortly after takeoff, armed terrorists storm the cockpit, injuring both Lutzmann and Ellis, who manages to fight off the attackers. When Ellis contacts ground control to inform them of an emergency landing, the hijackers murder a passenger and threaten to hurt more if he doesn’t unlock the cockpit door in a deadly game of cat-and-mouse.
The rest of the core ensemble cast includes: Omid Memar, Passar Hariky, Murathan Muslu, Aurélie Thépaut, Denis Schmidt, Hicham Sebiai, Cornel Nussbaum and Paul Wollin.
7500 is currently scheduled to launch, globally, on Amazon Prime Video on June 19, 2020.
