A Pill Unlocks Superpowers in Official Trailer for Netflix’s PROJECT POWER

People don’t know what they are getting until they pop the pill, per the first trailer for the forthcoming Netflix film, Project Power.

The film takes place in New Orleans, where a new underground drug, when consumed, is unlocking superhuman capabilities, unique to the person who takes it. The results are not easily determined as one could become bulletproof, invisible, some exude super strength, but others can become even deadlier. When the pill starts to escalate crime in the city, a cop (Joseph-Gordon Levitt), partners with a former soldier (Jamie Foxx) and teenage dealer, played by Dominique Fishback, to take down those responsible for manufacturing the drug.

Rounding out the rest of the ensemble cast are: Rodrigo Santoro, Amy Landecker, Courtney B. Vance, Tait Fletcher, Yoshi Sudarso and Allen Maldonado.

Project Power is currently scheduled for a global launch, exclusively on Netflix, on Aug. 14, 2020.
