Netflix Lands Rights to New Romantic Comedy Series, EMILY IN PARIS
July 13, 2020 Off By Michael StagnoA new romantic comedy series, Emily in Paris, via MTV Studios, has joined the ranks of shows on Netflix, in an exclusive streaming partnership.
The series, from creator Darren Star, will follow Emily, a marketing executive from Chicago, who lands her dream job in Paris, France, after her company is acquired by a French luxury marketing firm. She is then tasked with reshaping the company’s social media presence, while she also sets out on various adventures, encountering challenges, both professionally and personally, along the way.
The cast includes Lily Collins, as Emily, along with the supporting cast of: Ashley Park, Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu, Camille Razat, Lucas Bravo, Samuel Arnold, Kate Walsh and William Abadie.
Emily in Paris is currently expected to launch on Netflix in fall of 2020.
