Stan Lee Immortalized with MARVEL LEGENDS Action Figure
October 4, 2019Face front, True Believers! Hasbro is bringing you something that is truly Amazing, Spectacular and Fantastic, with its latest addition to the Marvel Legends line in celebrating the publisher’s 80th Anniversary, a 6-inch Stan Lee action figure!
Stanley Martin Lieber, the father of Marvel, passed on November 12, 2018, as we lost a true icon. Many of us have hundreds, if not, thousands of his comics, action figures and memorabilia, inspired and created by the man, himself. The guy delivered in co-creating some of the biggest pop culture icons in history like, Thor, Spider-Man, Doctor Strange, and teams like, Fantastic Four and The Avengers, thus paving the way for the Marvel Cinematic Universe, of which he made over 20 cameos.
That said, it was only fitting that Marvel and Hasbro come together to (finally) create a Marvel Legends 6-inch action figure for Lee! The figure comes equipped with his signature tinted glasses, Hollywood smile, a chess board, from his appearance in The Avengers, and Cap’s shield, which features a rendering of his autograph on it. So, ’nuff said!
The figure, along with others in the next wave of the line, will retail for $19.99 and will go on sale in May of 2020. You can currently preorder it at Amazon, Target and Entertainment Earth, among others.
