Film Version of Genndy Tartakovsky’s PRIMAL in Running For Oscar Nom

The breakout series, Genndy Tartakovsky’s Primal, which airs on [adult swim], is up against 31 other animated films at next year’s The Oscars.

The limited series qualifies for the Best Animated Feature Award because the five episodes, which are roughly 22 minutes, are being edited as an anthology, under the title, Genndy Tartakovsky’s Primal – Tales of Savagery.

Check out the full list of films being considered below. The five nominees will be announced in January, ahead of the awards show.
