CARRIE Limited Series in Development at FX Networks

A new partnership between FX and MGM Television will bring a new limited series to the network, based on Stephen King‘s beloved novel, Carrie.

The 1974 novel, which centers on Carrie White (Sissy Spacek), a telekinetic teenager who endures a domineering and abusive mother, was first adapted in 1976 with Carrie. A sequel came 23 years later, The Rage: Carrie 2, telling the story of Rachel Lang (Emily Bergl), who comes into her newfound powers. The book was rebooted in 2013, with Carrie, starring Chloë Grace Moretz, which mirrored the original film.
