Rick and Morty PICKLE RICK Flavor Coming to Pringles in Time for the Big Game
December 11, 2019A partnership among [adult swim], its fan-favorite show Rick and Morty, and Kellogg’s, a new and unique flavor of Pringles is coming to stores, as well as a :30-second ‘Big Game’ spot collaboration as well.
Pringles is known for its bold flavors and playful nature, with endless ‘stacking’ possibilities. In 2020, the company will test the limits with a new Pickle Rick flavor, in paying homage to the episode from Season 3 where Rick Sanchez turned himself into a pickle.
“We want to do something completely new for the brand for the 2020 ‘Big Game’ and are thrilled to be partnering with Adult Swim and Rick and Morty, a show which continues to grow in popularity, year-after-year and enjoys a cult fan following,” said Gareth Maguire, senior director of marketing for Pringles. “We hope the new special edition Pickle Rick flavor will be a hit with the show’s fans.”
Keep an eye out for Pringles Pickle Rick Crisps to land on the snack aisle of grocery stores, nationwide, starting in early February of 2020, as well as an ad to air during the NFL‘s ‘Big Game’ on Sunday, Feb. 2.
