Hail To The King, Baby! DEADPOOL’s Empire is Expanding in New Series

Writer Kelly Thompson and artist Chris Bachalo, in conjunction with the Merc with a Mouth, are combining on a new Deadpool series, launching this holiday season!

Following the events of Marvel Monsters, the creatures have set up a new kingdom on Staten Island. Deadpool is on a mission to return control to the people, but whether he will choose diplomacy or regicide is up in the air.

Thompson is no stranger, when it comes to working with the ‘Regenerating Degenerate’. She made her mark with Wade Wilson in the ongoing Mr. & Mrs. X series, featuring X-Men icons Rogue and Gambit.

The commentator-turned-writer, is currently staying busy, writing the latest Captain Marvel, Uncanny X-Men, West Coast Avengers and the Marvel Digital Original, Jessica Jones: Purple Daughter, serie(s) as well.
