A Brand-New Task Force X to Debut in New Ongoing Series, SUICIDE SQUAD

September 10, 2019 Off By Michael Stagno

The term, ‘next man up’ is apparent in the new Suicide Squad series from creators Tom Taylor and Bruno Redondo, which promises that characters will come, go and maybe even perish.

A new Task Force X has been assembled, while former leader, Amanda Waller, has been replaced. The squad’s first mission is to neutralize a new terrorist organization, known as, The Revolutionaries. When this team of antiheroes realizes that the surviving members of the regime will be joining the squad, that’s when the ‘fireworks’ begin.

“Truly, no one is safe, there’s a new regime, and this regime sees this team as assets and nothing more,” said Taylor. “They don’t care if they lose them in the field, they can always get more, and they do get more.”
