Mattel Honors ‘The Day of the Dead’ with BARBIE DIA DE LOS MUERTOS DOLL

In recognition of Dia de Los Muertos, Mattel has announced a limited edition Barbie doll.

The special doll will retail at $75, comes equipped with and is stored in an exclusive box, all maintained with a letter of authenticity. The doll will honor the traditions and symbols of the Mexican holiday, which is centuries old, with a Barbie in a ruffled and embroidered dress, adjourned in hearts and butterflies. Her face is painted in a traditional holiday mask, while she is also sporting a crown with monarchs and marigolds.

The doll will come equipped in special packaging, numerous accessories and a certificate of authenticity as well.

The two-day holiday brings families together in celebrating the lives of departed loved ones.
