DEJAH THORIS, the Cosmic Master, is Coming to the World of Barsoom

This holiday season, Dejah Thoris, will be revived by the creative team of Dan Abnett and Vasco Georgiev, for Dynamite Entertainment.

The world of Barsoom has always been dying, but it is even closer to death recently. Dejah Thoris, a royal adventurer, must now take on the role of scientist in attempting to save her home world. When she discovers that political factions are hiding secrets regarding the impending global catastrophe, she joins her fellow ‘Women of Dynamite’, Vampirella and Red Sonja, to form ‘The Trinity’, to save the planet.

“I’ve been a huge fan of Edgar Rice Burroughs‘ Barsoom stories since I was a kid – without question, a fundamental cornerstone of Science Fiction and, an inspiration for so much of the cosmic wonder that we love today,” said Abnett. “I jumped at the chance to write a saga in that world. It’s a dynastic epic of intrigue, action and adventure, with Dejah at the heart of it, and we’ve got an amazing art team to bring it to life.”

Dejah Thoris #1 is slated for release in December, 2019.
