Global Cities to Celebrate BATMAN 80th Anniversary with Bat-Signal Display
September 16, 2019 Off By Haven HuthA global initiative to celebrate 80 years of Batman will take place in 10 major cities all around the globe to honor the Caped Crusader, which will all light up the night sky with his famed logo.
On September 21, 2019, the world will come together in celebrating 80 years of the Dark Knight, from comics to television to film to memorabilia. Celebrities to have rocked the cowl will be celebrated too, whether it is Adam West, Michael Keaton, Val Kilmer, George Clooney, Christian Bale, Ben Affleck, David Mazouz or even Robert Pattinson, whoever your favorite is, it will surely be an awesome day!
Not only will the world be showing it’s love for Bruce Wayne’s alter-ego with a global Bat-Signal display, there will also be events, including signings and special edition memorabilia. In Los Angeles, the city will be hosting the DC Batman Run Experience. For all you Gothamites in New York, the Barnes & Noble Union Square is having a joint-signing event featuring Peter J. Tomasi, Brad Walker, James Tynion IV, Dan DiDio, and the creative genius behind current classics such as, Batman: Court of Owls, The Batman Who Laughs and Dark Knight: Metal, the Scott Snyder.
