NEW WARRIORS Fails to Land Platform, May Be Final Straw for Series

After being dropped by Freeform, the Marvel teen superhero show, New Warriors, may be dead (for now), despite being praised by critics.

The series, from creators Jeph Loeb and Kevin Biegel, follows six teen superheroes seeking to make a positive impact on a world that is growing increasingly dangerous. It stars Milana Vayntrub, Derek Theler, Jeremy Tardy, Calum Worthy, Matthew Moy, Kate Comer and Keith David.

The team has turned in quite a lot of characters over the years since being created by Night Thrasher, but for a full list of those who have come-and-gone, including the current lineup, click HERE.

There are currently rumblings that the show may be picked up by the new Disney+ streaming service, thus keeping the series in-house, although it had previously passed on it, as did Hulu as well. Stay tuned!
