Marvel Announces ‘Sprawling Cross-Dimensional Event’, CONAN: SERPENT WAR

September 14, 2019 Off By Michael Stagno

The creative tandem of Jim Zub, Scot Eaton and Stephen Segovia, are combining forces in telling an all-new story, marking the first big event for Conan the Barbarian, in Conan: Serpent War.

Conan has enlisted the help of Dark Agnes, Solomon Kane and … Moon Knight as a collection of warriors to journey across time to defy the Elder Gods. James Allison is hailed by an Elder God named, Wyrm, who opposes those who wish to usher in an eternity of darkness, but only the hand-picked heroes can stop the forces of evil.

Conan is the original brooding anti-hero,” Zub said. “He’s the template for every Wolverine-, Punisher-, Elektra– or Winter Soldier-style character in books, films and comics. He’s absolutely iconic and getting the chance to build new Conan stories is an absolute dream project for me.”
