Klaus Hargreeves Takes His Talents to Hollywood in, YOU LOOK LIKE DEATH
February 22, 2020The universe of The Umbrella Academy is expanding as The Séance is taking the spotlight, per series co-creator Gerard Way and Shaun Simon, along with I.N.J. Culbard, You Look Like Death: Tales From The Umbrella Academy.
The limited series finds an 18-year-old Klaus Hargreeves, aka The Séance, navigating the world solo. It takes place roughly 10 years before the events of Apocalypse Suite, which finds him having been kicked out of The Umbrella Academy and his allowance discontinued by the family. So, he sets out for Hollywood and finds a new high on a vampire drug lord’s secret stash, though when things go awry, his siblings aren’t around to help!
“The sky is the limit to where we can expand The Umbrella Academy universe,” said Gabriel Bá, who will be providing art on covers. “This series will be a surprise to readers, and Ian’s distinct artwork will help with establishing Klaus’ past and building its own personal symbology.”
