Creator, writer and artist Giuseppe Falco is bringing his original graphic novel, Sengi and Tembo, a tale about a mouse and an elephant, to Scout Comics, starting this fall.

The story centers on the pair of Sengi, a mouse, and an elephant named, Tembo, both of whom, reside in the savannah of Africa. Sengi, following the death of his mother, is alone and learning to survive. Tembo, slightly older, feels as if his life is ending, so he sets out, beyond his herd, to find the secret passage to the ‘Land Without Beginning’, a mythical place. The two meet and, for a few days at least, will find friendship as their respective futures will now be changed forever.

“Entrusting a creation to a publisher always creates a little fear and tension in me. How will they treat it? Will they take care of it? How will they present it to the world? When Scout Comics decided to be the publisher of Sengi and Tembo, I was very happy about and I was certain that they would take great care of it,” said Falco. “Sengi and Tembo tells my point-of-view on life. An important theme dressed, though, with fun outfits. I hope that the final result, thanks to the work of all of us, will also appeal to you readers.”

Sengi and Tembo #1 is tentatively scheduled to release in fall of 2020.
