The creative tandem of Eric Palicki and Wendell Cavalcanti have a new series bound for Scout Comics in, Atlantis Wasn’t Built For Tourists, in which a drifter happens upon a small town where a corrupt sheriff isn’t the only thing to worry about.

The story centers on Lucas Lewis, a drifter, who arrives in Atlantis County, Ore., seeking a hot meal and a place to crash for the night. He instead finds a town run by a corrupt sheriff who enlists vampires in the wilderness to help maintain his power, as well as control the population. Lewis, is determined to rid the town of the sheriff and the monsters, thus returning the town to that of the people who live there. However, it’s easier said than done.

“In bringing Atlantis Wasn’t Built for Tourists to Scout Comics, I feel as if I’m joining a family of creators, making some of the most exciting, enthralling and status quo-challenging books on the shelves today,” Palicki stated.

Atlantis Wasn’t Built For Tourists #1 is currently expected to launch in August of 2020.

The publisher also has its own monthly subscription box, which comes equipped with 12 bagged-and-boarded comics! You can subscribe HERE. Plus, be sure to keep an eye out for the company’s awesome comic book vending machines at your local comic shops as well.
