Paul Harding Continues to Roll Out Nostalgic ‘Marvel in the 1970s’ Creations

Artist and sculptor extraordinaire Paul Harding, took to Twitter during these troubling times to share some designs of classic Marvel characters.

Harding, known for having designed and produced pieces like, the Batman ’66 TV Show Shakespeare Bust Bank, and most of the DC Icons action figures, has now applied his sculpting skills to the groovy 70s, after scouring the catalog to create amazing portraits of some fan favorite characters such as, Captain America, Bucky and the Red Skull.

The set also includes the usual favorites, Thor, Iron Man, Black Panther and, of course, Spider-Man, among many others, but also some other fun creations, like a ‘drunk Tony Stark‘, Dark Silver Surfer and super squads, like the Defenders!

Harding even adapted the founding fathers of Marvel Comics, Stan ‘The Man’ Lee, Jack ‘The King’ Kirby and‘Joltin” Joe Sinnott. The trio below come equipped with their signature accessories. Lee, with his tinted prescription sunglasses, Kirby and his cigar and Sinnott with his Hollywood smile.
