Skybound XPO: Image Teams with Com2uS on SUMMONERS WAR Series

Publisher Image Comics, along with Skybound and game studio, Com2uS, have partnered in constructing a comic book series, Summoners War: Legacy, per creators Justin Jordan and Luca Claretti.

The upcoming series, which will serve as a direct prequel to the mobile game, Summoners War, is set 35 years prior to the conflict at the heart of the mobile game. The series will include fan-favorite creatures and monsters, as well as offer some backstory on its titular character, Durand, thus expanding the world of Alea, as well as its supporting characters of Abuus, Rai and Tomas. The book will ultimately string together Summoners War as well as the upcoming Summoners War: Sky Arena.

Summoners War: Legacy is currently in development, but the con exclusive variant for the first issue, which will span over 32 pages, including seven pages of bonus material, is already available for preorder. Fans who secure an issue now will receive the variant, as it comes equipped with a gold foil, which is redeemable for in-game rewards for 200 gems and three scrolls.
