The next-generation console has made its world premiere and Microsoft promises that the Xbox Series X will be the most-powerful gaming system, ever.

The Xbox Series X is slated to be the fastest-processing and most-powerful console of all-time in setting a new bar for performance, speed and compatibility, specifically, with the ability to access thousands of games across the past-three generations of Xbox consoles. The design of the console also allows for both vertical and horizontal orientation.

The video also reveals the new Xbox wireless controller. The shape and size has been refined in accommodating a wide range of gamers. It also features a ‘Share’ button, which will make capturing screenshots and game clips more simple. The advanced D-Pad is derived from the Xbox Elite Series 2 wireless controller and it will be compatible with the Xbox One and Windows 10 PCs as well. It will be included with the Series X at launch too.

The console will manifest itself as a world-class visual wonder in 4K, with the capability to reaching as high as 120FPS. It will support Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) and has 8K possibility. The processor is of the latest Zen 2, the next-generation RDNA construction and will deliver accelerated ray tracing to enhance performance.

The publisher believes it has also solved the ongoing battle between gamers and latency as well. The console will minimize it by way of Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM), which will improve functionality in the lane of Dynamic Latency Input (DLI) for developers.

Some games were also lightly-revealed, like Hellblade II (trailer below), but the one that stands out, Halo Infinite, which is currently scheduled to launch with the console. The company is also gearing up to deliver the most-diverse and exclusive games list in its history as well.

Get your wallets ready. The Xbox Series X is set to blow the holiday season wide open in 2020. Keep an eye out for game and more feature reveals leading up to its launch.
