Guillermo del Toro to be Honored with Hollywood Walk of Fame Star
July 31, 2019 Off By Michael StagnoVisionary filmmaker Guillermo del Toro will finally be honored with a Hollywood Walk of Fame star this summer!
The talented director, producer, screenwriter and author, known for such projects as Hellboy, Pacific Rim, Pans Labyrinth and The Shape of Water, among others, will be recognized by the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce in the ‘Motion Pictures’ category, landing him a star on 6918 Hollywood Blvd.
The filmmaker is currently set to release the live adaptation of Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark, which comes out in theaters on August 9, and is in pre-production on two big upcoming projects in Nightmare Alley and Pinocchio.
The ceremony, which is scheduled for Tuesday, August 6, at 11:30am (PT), will be live streamed at walkoffame.com. Both J.J. Abrams and Lana Del Rey will assist in the unveiling of the star.
