De Niro Joins DiCaprio in KILLERS OF THE FLOWER MOON

August 3, 2019 Off By Michael Stagno

A busy man, indeed, he is. Martin Scorsese continues his run of film releases this year with Killers of the Flower Moon coming, which will follow the release of his first-ever Netflix film, The Irishman.

The cast is still growing, but will feature two heavyweights, as well as staples in the ‘Scorsese Universe’ in both Leonardo DiCaprio (Tom White) and Robert De Niro, as William Hale.

The film will tell the story, which is set in Oklahoma in the 1920s, of the Osage Indians, members of which are murdered under mysterious circumstances (oil, money and politics), sparking an FBI investigation, involving J. Edgar Hoover.

No news yet on a release date, but was initially slated to release later in 2019. The project is currently in pre-production. Keep an eye out for casting updates as the year goes.
