The upcoming live-action series of the popular Xbox IP, Halo, continues to round out its cast, with hopes of landing on Showtime in early 2021.

In April, it was announced that Pablo Schreiber would take on the lead role as Master Chief, while Yerin Ha is Quan Ah, an outer-colony teenager troubled in a time of war, but now we know who will round out the rest of the team.

Taking on the dual role of Dr. Catherine Halsey, the creator of the SPARTAN-II program, but also as Master Chief’s trusted navigator, the advanced AI system hologram known as, Cortana, will be Natascha McElhone.

Bokeem Woodbine will play Soren-066, a Spartan candidate reject, turned privateer and Admiral Margaret Parangosky, commander of the United Nations Space Command, will be played by Shabana Azmi.

The series will also introduce some new Spartan characters specific to the show, Vannak-134 (Bentley Kalu), second-in-command to Master Chief, Riz-028, Natasha Culzac, and, playing Kai-125, will be Kate Kennedy.

If you are unfamiliar with the Microsoft video game series, the story will actually operate as a prequel, but remains the same. It’s Earth versus the Covenant, an advanced alien species, seeking to take control of the universe. The series will center on the war between humanity and aliens in a war of religious and communal expansion.
